Philippines 'SARS-free' no more
THE PHILIPPINES is no longer "SARS-free" after an autopsy on SARS-victim Adela Catalon's father showed the elder Catalon had died from pneumonia, Health Secretary Manuel Dayrit said Friday. "Today, after the autopsy on the lungs of the deceased father of Adela, we shall be reporting him as a SARS case and the first local transmission," Dayrit said.
We are doomed. Asia is doomed. Already the impact on the economy is bad. What more if this thing continues for months? It's gonna take a LOT of prayer to see this through.

SARS-suspected village sealed off
San Fernando City, La Union—An entire village in Alcala, Pangasinan, was placed in isolation yesterday because of fears that a probable SARS victim who lived there might have infected residents.
Has it really come to our country now? Looks like we'll have to wait and see.
